Artist Statement
My art is about nature, color and lines. I love nature and hiking and can often be found on an outdoor adventure. Mountains, prairies, oceans….I’m overwhelmed by their beauty. I take little snippets of memories from these trips and weave them together with color and lines to create my images. I’m not trying to create an exact image of a place. I’m trying to create the feeling that the place left in me.
All originals are painted in watercolor and /or gouache on watercolor paper. Originals are not currently for sale.
