South Sister, Oregon
The Three Sisters are series of volcanic peaks in the Cascade Range in Oregon. The summit of South Sister (10,358 ft) can be hiked to in a day and that’s just what I did on a road trip through central Oregon I took in 2015. As you hike, you reach a false summit at the base of Lewis Glacier which leads to this view. Or at least to my impression of this view! Enjoy!
